  • You need free disk space, the more the better but I recommend at least 5 GB.
  • You should have an account for the Apple App Store.
  • You need a fast internet connection or a lot of time.

You like to extend the power of OsiriX with plug-ins but you just have an old Mac and simply don't have the latest MacOSX version. You can still develop great plugins. (MacOSX 10.6).

XCode

When you are using MacOSX SnowLeopard and below you are not able to install XCode4. But that shouldn't stop you. You can get your XCode version from the Mac Developer Center after free registration. Once inside the 'Dev Center' for Mac you can search for XCode 3.2 and download it.

Only user of Mac Lion or above have to download 'command line tools', you don't have to worry about that.

After downloading the software you can proceed with the installation, which is pretty straight forward. You shouldn't need any help with it.
